Very nice, especially on the cymbal selection. How do you find that UFIP crash? They interest me more and more, I'm on the market for an 18" crash to compliment my 16" AAX Studio and I'm thinking handmade 18", say an Istanbul or a Ufip. Any words of wisdom?

Great kit.

You may want to watch into UFiP Brilliants and Bionics. I think they would compliment any crash, especially the Brilliants.. Bionics are on the heavy side, so you gotta smash into them to fully appreciate their sound (don't smack 'em up too hard, they're also very fragile!)

Anyway, the brass snare has a nice crack, still you gotta consider that it's 6 1/2" deep, so it has a considerable sustain and.. well, depth!

UFIPs are a wonderful cymbal company. I technically have two UFIP cymbals. UFIP made them but LP stamped their name on my ice bell and my ride cymbal got Dominion stamped on it. Both made in Italy tho

I got same kit, expect mine is the 96 model & also has 10" & 13" toms
heres a photo (I don't use it in the same set up anymore, the rack is on my other kit & the 13" either not used or used as a 2nd floor tom)
