              McLovin...cool
Great looking kit, how did you find tuning the kick drum ? I use the same heads on a yamaha club custom 22x15, super kick 1 batter, ps3 fiberskin reso.I found tuning the reso head slightly lower then batter works well with that head combination, not usually how I tune my kicks but, sounds good

I usually tune my kick's batter head slightly tighter than the reso. I used to only tighten the reso to just above finger tight (JAFT).

i used to tune both my kick batter and reso at about finger tight, but now I tune my reso rather high and leave the batter pretty low and I am liking that a lot more. I tend to tune all of my resos fairly high in general.

Don't want to spam this thread, but I just looked at the Anchor site. Dude, is that copper coated hardware I spy?

That and there is a blue sparkle just a bit further down which looks sort of coppery.

                          Yeah, I've seen those.

I like the white kit with the two different basses and 4 toms.

I have a super kick II, but I usually tune the batter a little tighter than most (tighten to remove all wrinkles on head, then loosen the tension rods a quarter turn), and the reso right where the tension rods won't come loose. It has so much low end, but still has the attack from the batter head. I can't describe it, but sound guys say I'm a dream to work with. LOLL

ps. I also don't use any muffling inside the bass drum. I used to, but I didn't know how to tune.

do the complete opposite and you'll love it!!! it takes some time getting used to it, but you get a better attack and you pretty much get the drum's true sound.
