Thanks man! The 12x8 is orange. It sucks because along with the preferable sound, it really meshes a lot better with the blue and yellow.

For what it's worth I like the red too. Those are defintely a cool find....especially for free. You should install an led light inside of each drum that shines white...would be cool to bring out each color

They'd have to be worth a good bit more than that for me to get rid of em, there's no kit in that price range I'd give these up for. The heads I had to replace the 70's era ones with are already pretty beat up, but they still sound awesome.

A friend and I were bored one day and stopped by his local dump, we found this along with a 70's Fender Super Reverb. It was broken, but he's a guitar player so he took it and had it fixed though. Talk about a stroke of good luck! The hardware is fine other than the ghetto hi-hat cymbal stand, my regular was stolen at a gig. I guess the front hoops also(so called "ludwig expert" at the store gave me the wrong length tension rods...)
