  • 2009 Pearl Vision VSX v3.0

After many changes, updates, and many gigs, I decided that a 7-piece was WAY too much to move regularly. Even with a rack, it was a pain. So, I've collapsed way down to the essentials, and LOVE it.

2009 Pearl Vision VSX Guitar Center Anniversary #463 Walnut Burl Burst
    - 22" x 18" bass drum
    - 10" x 8" rack tom
    - 14" x 14" floor tom
    - 16" x 16" floor tom
    - 14" x 7" Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute Nouveau snare drum

    - 14" Sabian APX hats
    - 18" Sabian Xs20 crash
    - 18" Sabian Paragon crash
    - 21" Sabian AAX Memphis ride

    - Remo Powerstroke3/Fiberskyn3
    - Remo AmbassadorX/Clear Ambassador
    - Remo Coated Ambassador/Hazy Ambassador

    - Pearl 900 Series hardware
    - Roc n Soc Nitro throne
    - LP Rock Ridge Rider cowbell

Dude that's a sweet kit! Looks comfy! How are you liking the 10-14-16 combo? I'm really trying to get a 14x14 like that. Where did you get it and how much was it if you don't mind?

Great kit! Oozing class. Also, how did you get the fiberskyn reso to say Pearl? I just replaced my stock Pearl vision reso for a fiberskyn, and I was wondering how to get it to say Pearl.

I had to special order the 14" x 14". It took about 4 months, but it was totally worth it.
