My Pearl Reference Kit with new toys!

Howdy all... First and foremost- Happy Thanksgiving!


I've been lurking around for a while..nothing to new or interesting for me really...I got some new toys however. Some new splashes, a Pearl Maple 10x6 Side Snare ( I LOVE THIS!!!) and other assorted percussion toys...Plus my set-up is just a bit different...Check it out!

Nice!! I've started working on my independence more (a thing I'm sure you've been working on with a setup like yours..). I'm currently focusing on just playing the kit backwards..(IE- right hand on right-side hats, left on snare still, but right foot controlling hi-hat pedal, left on pedal...) Any tips?

Your kit is outstanding--the setup looks phenomenol. Love the kick drum size. How do you like it? You don't see many around or at least I don't in the 16 inch depth. I bet it's a punchy little ******.
