Korch's Saturns: Now with Virgin Bass, and Pearl Rack
Winner of Best large kit over5 pieces category ~ PDF ANNUAL AWARDS 2009 - DOTM February 2011
Some trolls grew up and finally move on with real lifes. Some others will keep on trolling for they recharge their inner energy through conflicts..even it is just the internet. shame..
Nice dude!! ive never been a fan of those old racks but this works and looks great!! thanks for posting dude!!
just curious, what sorta samples do you run of those pads?
(i ask that to everyone with pads on their kit) lol
-Perry
I plug those pads into my spd-s pad (which is not in the pics). Sometimes I am just triggering cowbells or tambourines, etc. Sometimes I am triggering loops (keys, guitar, vocals, etc.).
I think those older black racks are awesome! They were rock solid and sturdy and that is all that matters. Because of the black finish, it goes well with the kit. It doesn't distract from the finish at all.

Thanks. I like it also. I think a lot of people assume it is the D-80 rack.... but that one was much thinner. This rack is the precursor to the ICON. I believe it is the DR-110.
I have all my toms, cymbals and electronic pads mounted on it, and it does not budge.
That is a sweet kit and set up Charlie. The black rack doesn't "stick out" like chrome ones sometimes do.

Korch, your kit and setup look really really nice. So out of all of your kits, do you like the Saturns the best? Just wondering since it is the one that is not for sale and the others are.
Love the black rack with that finish too--works really well.
