^ dunno... 10-14 is a killer combo. A Friend of mine has a MBirch in 8-10-12-14. the 8 was sold and the 12 is used as a kind shelf

Yeah I'd go with a 12 x 8 racktom if it was me.
Beautiful kit man. And the cymbal choices are spot on.

I'm pretty sure my next kick reso will be a PS3 Fiberskin. That looks great on your kit.

Pretty sure? No pretty sure about it. It WILL be a FS PS3!

Not to hi-jack cjbee's thread with his KILLER kit, but here is my Oaks with a FS PS3 Ambo. WICKED RESONANT HEADS!

Agreed. I have one on my Swingstar and I can't wait to hear how one will sound on my new kit.

Anyways, as always Conor, the kit looks amazing. It just might be my favorite kit on the forum.

cjbee, as always, awesome. That looks so hip. Ooze's grooviness. I actually tried 2 18's together as hi-hats yesterday and it's such a good feel!
                FS ftw!

I love everything about your kit, from the sizes to the cymbals. Hopefully I can have one as nice as yours in the future.

Oh wow, I just adore this kit. Everything's perfect about it, and the K light just tops it all off.

How's the chick on your crash/hats?
The hats are actually very articulate. They're not as 'tight' as say, a 13" or 14" pair, but they don't get washed out and stay present in the mix. They blend more than they cut.

Question... How do you like the Vintage A's? As usual I pick up my trusty ol' Coated Ambassadors, but I was rather curious to try the Vintage A heads, but just couldn't pull the trigger since Ambassadors work so well on the Oaks for me.

The Fiberskyn looks great on your kit. I love it on my 24" bass. Crazy depth, warmth and a fantastic medium between boom and punch.
Thanks, Adam! The Vintage A's are certainly much warmer and rounder sounding than the clear G2's that I was using before. They're 'crisp', open, and delightfully resonant...seriously...and I thought my floor tom sounded huge with a G2! They feel great to play on, and are definitely 'vintage' sounding like the name implies.
