I redid the edges on everything, repainted(outside and inside), split the shells on the bass and FT, and made the hardware satin chrome. I also made the acrylic snare

        Specs-

        Drums
        22x17 bass drum
        16x12 floor tom
        10x6 snare (Acrylic chamber snare)

        Cymbals
        21'' Zildjian Sweet Ride
        Hihats
-Top 14''- is a bottom paiste 101 hihat and I painted it and then sanded it to make it look awesome
-Bottom 14''- Some other no name brand (The hihats sound really good....believe me)

        Without further a due.....

Awesome man, and you a local in my nech of the woods, I live in Wenatchee, we should hook-up, I think I know you, nice work man, I would love to see that up close and personal.

haha, I was wondering when someone would notice that =] I one thing that really bugs me is that that lugs on the snare are in-line and the lugs on the other drums are off-set. But other than that....I love it =]

No, what kind of sandpaper? I doubt 360 grit would even scratch the chrome.

NOW THAT IS A CUSTOM KIT!

Finnaly somthing diffrent in custom drums for a change. i was getting a little tired of the same sized 4 peices that where being dished out of these companys.

Bassdrum is very interesting as well...i would hit it.

I started with a 60 grit, then went down to 110, then to 220

When it sanded over the first layer of paint I used only the 220.

There's, surprisingly, still a lot of resonance. But I don't like resonance....I tune it so that it's really punchy...and I put a bed sheet in there haha...there is so much more projection though - because of the vents.

The way I have it tuned...it has no decay. It's just BOOM! Really punchy and quick. But you can tune it a lot of different ways....open, resonant, light....you know =]
