"Supraphonic, AA RBDR and more!"

Well, I figured it was time for new pics. I browse Craigslist and Ebay a lot and recently won a Ludwig Supraphonic! It is only a 14x5..which I'm shooting for a 14x6.5 I'm just not there. I won it at a great price, so I'm pretty pleased. Still want a nice COB snare (probably one of the Slingerland versions) and hopefully a blackrolite and acrolite as well.

What with the duct tape? I know I know I need to get rid of it. Atleast I don't have the toliet paper/duct tape on each drum like I did before.

Big ups for that Mitch Markovich solo! His stuff is awesome and HARD. Have you ever tried Tornado or Stamina at his marked speed? Yikes!

Ugh, I'm supposed to play Stamina for my solo this year (winner is my "warm-up) and just looking over Stamina I'm petrified! My friend (unfortantly the person I ALWAYS finish 2nd to in marching percussion) did Tornado last year.. I played Bridgeman.

Yeah we use a supra like that at school, its pretty nice. Real warm wtih a nice sharp bite. How do you like your RBDR? I have one, and I'm not too fond of it right now. Its nice and versitile...I dunno it just seems to lack character.

BTW, get the hell off the computer and clean that room.

I might later..seeing as I usally clean when I'm in a bitter mood. The RBDR is nice, but I'm really looking for something else now... I want to keep it for a possible larger drumset in the future, when I may need more of it's sound. As of now..I'm really wanted a Blue Bell Ride or something. I was on Cymbalsonly for a while the other day listening to sound samples and have a list of a few I might try chasing.

As for the upstairs kit, I'm thinking about just stacking it again...I don't play it...so it's just taking up floor space.
