The V-Octopus

At last some photos of my v shaped octopus! Unfortunately there are some toys missing, in particular a 7" UFiP Ice Bell.. I've put the 12" wuhan china back to some rest, while being replaced by the new Stagg stack .
These photos are not top-notch, but I was a bit in a rush, I beg you pardon!

i have the same tom setup. its fun as hell and you can do some creative stuff with the tom to the left.

hows the trash splash sound?

Yeah crazydrum, I couldn't live without a tom to my left! It's so fun to use it in conjunction with the snare drum (not only simultaneously).. and you can play some cool tribal grooves!

The trash splash is short and.. mystic! You can hear it for example on the first verse of "Take a look around" by Limp Bizkit.. it's raw but at the same time soft.. in a word.. trashy! Great splash in my opinion..

@notsocoolguy: fun? yes man, a lot!

@Quint: Vater LA are to me the best 5A I've ever played with; they are well balanced, more durable than Vic Firth's, with an excellent grip, and finally a not so easy to break tip.

@Roger//: the Vic Firth headphones when not plugged in are amazing: -23db cut, drums sound like being compressed or pumped with tons of basses..when plugged in they perform ordinarily well but they need an amp to really achieve their maximum potential.

Loving the setup! How much did the Roland Boss DB30 Metronome cost and where can I pick one up? I'd love to have a metronome right in front of me all the time. I'd practice with one a lot more than I do now!
