I'm into week 6 of lockdown here in Berlin, gonna pop over to London for xmas and stay with my friends. I bought a guitar a few months back to keep me busy over winter and its the best decision I could've made. Its really nice being able to practise my instrument and not annoy everyone in a 300 metre radius.

You've got it too? I tested positive last Friday when I realized my sense of taste/smell were completely gone. It sucks since I have only been out of my house to go to the grocery store and pick up an order at the bike shop. I suspect my husband (who has to go to his office 2 days a week) picked something up there and brought it home. People here are mostly OK about wearing masks, but there are definitely a few who won't comply or leave their noses hanging out.

Luckily I don't have any other symptoms, but man, long term effects are unknown.

Yep. Worst part so far is not being able to taste anything. Starting to really bum me out.

Oh man, I feel you so much. Anyone who knows me knows I eat a lot and LOVE food. This Day 6 of not being able to taste, I am seriously bummed out. I've been pretty bleh the past 2 months but not being able to smell my food and just mindlessly chewing is pushing me off the cliff. I'm glad that there's some holiday time off coming up so I can lay on my couch feeling sorry for myself while binge watching LotR or something.

My wife is making all these great meals and it’s killing me not to be able to taste any of it.

                        Dylan and Kerry,
I'm so sorry to hear that you both have to go through this scourge.
I wish you both the speediest of recoveries.

                        Ouch Kev,
Nothing like a good tumble down a flight of stairs.
I hope that you are okay too.
