You have so many beauties to choose from. I can think of at least six that I really like a lot. Of course sound is important too, but I’m sure they all sound as good as they took. The Sonor is especially impressive, with mallet lugs, super cool strainer and butt, and hella hoops. Also, it’s a real wood veneer and not Alpi.

Thanks Marv! With DW, I'm pretty sure you won't get a Collector's Series drum with an ALPI veneer, but Sonor has been using more and more ALPI products. They don't advertise/broadcast it, but they will tell it to your straight if you ask the right questions.
