Can you buy raw Pearl shells?

The long lug hardware would be the same as the Exports and the Session Elite kits that I own. The Sessions has the isolation pads or what ever they're called under the lugs and the Export doesn't. I know he already has all the hardware but any long lug Pearl hardware will work right? I mean not any long lug because I had some that were smooth in stead of squared.

The look the same but the MLX lugs were one piece, were as the exports were three pieces. Not sure on the Sessions Elites? The MLX's also had the gasket. The drum I am looking to acquire or build a replica of is the Prestige Custom.

Basically the MLX was 6-ply all maple shells 45 sharp edge so today you'd have to go Masterworks to get that shell. The three-piece high tension lugs have long been out of production but there are after market parts. He would just have to measure center-hole to center hole to see if an after market long lug would fit.

What other floor toms do you have? 16"? 18"?
