Looking for the perfect sound

I am looking for the perfect sound for my forum kit. I want a high pitched kind of "dooom" sound for my toms. I was thinkin of getting Remo black suede heads for that sound but i have no idea. Any suggestions?
I currently have Evans ec2 heads on my toms and g1 resos the sound is ok but doesn't tune to that sound I want.

I'm not sure if you are serious or joking, but Hydraulics generally are better at low tunings, not so much cranked up. I would maybe suggest a 2ply clear like G2 or Emperor.

This might be one of the cases when you want to hear drums like they sound on records - Close miked and EQ'd. This is not really how drums sound naturally, so you might need to change your expectations. That being said, if you can give an audio example of what sound you're after, we could probably help you get close to it.

I might be wrong but I think Shannon Leto triggers. But I would go the way of clear G2s. They have an amazing range without feeling choked. I've used em for years in different settings with different tunings.
