  • Forum Series Parts Questions

    Hey everyone,

Thought this would be the quickest place to find answers to my questions.

I'm rehabbing a Pearl Forum kit for a friend and it needs some parts TLC. I've been able to track some stuff down, but am having a few problems.

First - I've attached a (poor) photo of what the badge is - from what it looks like to me this is a Forum FX, but I'm not up on my Forum models so I don't know if that's accurate. Hopefully this will help in identifying the particular series and any parts.

Second - on the 13" tom, one of the lug casings has a stripped thread. It looks like I need to replace the casing. The inside has a "1" inside it and the Pearl logo. Is this the SL-01 lug? If it's not, what is the proper model? Where can I get one of these? (No one online seems to have any).

Third - For a set of this era - would the tom holder be a TH-70? The set is missing one but I think I've found one. The set has the old thru-shell (no iso mount) style tom mounts.

Fourth - are the spurs for a kit of this era SP-70s?

And last - I've noticed some of the finish coming up as if it's been in the heat for a while. I doubt I'll be rewrapping this but want to present the option. That in mind: are the wraps for these just taped, or glued?

    I appreciate any help!

Yes, the badge is consistent with the Forum FX.
Yes, the tom lugs are the SL-01 and the tension rods are the T-061L.
Yes, the tom holder is the TH-70.
Yes, the spurs are the SP-70.
The covering is held with double-sided tape.
    I hope this helps.

      Gene,

Thanks so much for confirming everything. Very helpful and will help me rehab this kit quite inxpensively.

Are the SL-01 lugs available through any Pearl dealer?

Thanks so much for the help.
