  • Anyone wish there was an Export 13x9?

Over the past year I've been modeling my export after Jimmy Chamberlin's Maple Custom Absolute, and I've got everything perfect except that the only 13" tom in Exports has an 11" depth. I know 2 inches in depth doesn't make a huge difference in overall tonal performance but it would be nice to have some more options.

Um...actually, it would be cool to have a 13x13" tom.

I am trying to rid from my life all that I can do without, including drum gear.
    I am selling:
    Sabian 17" AA Metal-X Crash
    Sabian 18" AA Heavy Ride
    Sabian 14" B8Pro Medium Hihats
    Zildjian 18" Oriental China Trash

    Please PM if interested.

Yah, the export is doing very well as far as seling is concerned and i think that pearl should offer a bit more selection as far as tom sizes

        No i hate 13" toms. 10x8, 12x9, 14x12 are the best sizes for a 5 piece i reckon.

i think its odd that pearl makes a 10x8 and a 10x10 but not a 10x9 in the export series. i dont want one, but surely that would fit better with rock sizes (12x10, 13x11 etc.) than a 10x8 or 10x10? cos then the depths would increase by increments of 1 each time. ah well
          cheers
