  • 1990 Export. Ex-Carcass

I have been given the task to restore this Pearl Export from 1990 that belonged to Ken Owen of Carcass
I will leave the battle scars as they are part of it's history. Everything else will get done. Looking forward to doing this one

Looking good, and what a great bit of history. It might not mean much to the masses, but Carcass hold a legendary place in the goregrind scene, and Ken helped the do that. Nice to see that kit getting some love

Thank you. I am doing the kit to raise some money for Ken who lives in the next village to me. The kit has a lot of stories to tell & bares all the scars. I have purposely left the major marks & dings as they are part of it's history

Are those rack toms 12x10, 13x11, 14x12? The look smaller with the photo of them side by side. Just curious I'm a sucker for an Export!

The 14x12 is definitely one of the hardest rack toms to find. Very nice

                        Thank you. I do like a 14x12

                          Great job!

Didn't Ken use two bass drums when he recorded Heartwork? Is this part of the big kit as seen on the Gods of Grind tour DVD?

Yes he did. Also had a 10" Tom. The other BD went missing a long time ago now. We dragged this out of his garage
