Thanks. It’s tight in my drum room, but I still manage to have a lotta fun with my drums. Every night after work! I’m set up to take lessons online (YouTube and Drumeo only so far). My real human 3-D drum teacher was blown away that I built a soundproof room just for drums. And my wife was delighted as well.

You should start a new thread with pictures in the “show us
your kit” section. I love those older Exports and I am not alone.

                Well....hoops. Yeah.
So, S-hoops are fantastic, BUT they don’t fit the ISS tom holder...UNLESS, you get out your Dremel tool and cut a groove in the top flange to accept the holder! Yes...I did that, and they are just what I wanted. Now my 10” tom sounds less like a roto tom, my 12” sounds throaty and tight, and my snare has never sounded better.
Hoops are a much bigger deal than I knew.
New drummer, me...still learning, still changing.
                Peace, y’all.

Honestly....it’s not work I’m proud of, so I’m a little hesitant to show what I did. When I do my 14” tom, maybe I won’t slip as much. I really scratched up the hoops I cut the grooves into. Not proud of that. The Dremel jumped more than once. Scratches, and even a couple gouges that really shouldn’t have happened.
                    But to repeat:
You know how the ISS holders have those chrome “claws” that grab the edge of the stock hoop? Since the S-hoops have that fat top flange, those claws wouldn’t make the reach. Not even close. So, I cut two grooves where they should go in each S-hoop to accommodate the claws, and it actually worked. No hint of movement, rock solid.
Of course, no mods. were necessary for the snare.
                    Peace.

The 12” tom....badly overcut. Blame it on the beer, I guess.

Cool idea. Truly custom Exports. Sweet.
