  • Export Double bass?

I'm looking into buying another bass and maybe like a 10" tom for my '01-'03 Export EX.. I was wondering where I could maybe get add-ons from that time.. or do I need to find some used?

Also, should I get a smaller, same, or bigger bass than my 22" x (idk how to measure depth.. but I think it is 15" [inside the hoop] and like 18" [to end of hoops])...and if it is better to have dif. sizes do they make dif. sizes for EX?..

    Thanks for any help...

i personally have two sizes of bass drum, one with a double kick on it (bigger one, main) and my aux bass has a single pedal. (smaller)

you get a lot more options with your feet, I'd personally recommend this.

^ Usually those guys who do that, are 12 years old and don't give a **** about the quality of their drums, only the size of the kit matters to them so they buy some crappy kits that sounds worse than Ashley Simpson's voice.
          Imo that's just ******ed...

nah, he is 16 years old and i think your meaning about this is very right... but the kit is cool and it is cool that your kit's very big...

I like ddrummer's idea that way you can have that extra bass if you need that dif sound but if you need same sound you got the double pedal..

                      Okay so looking at massmusic.net I found out that for a 10" X 8" (or 10" x 10") tom and a 20" X 16" bass would be $364... and for a bass of the same size as my current (22" x 16") with tom would be $382..

                      For a more rock sound which is better 10" x 8" or 10" x 10"?

also, it could be a while until I get a double bass pedal if I was to get one for my main drum.. so is it posible to tune a smaller bass to sound like my big one so I can have that same bass sound..? or should I just get one of the same size..

Also, if anyone uses massmusic I was wondering if you know all the hard wear that comes with basses and toms..? It says I get all hardware.. will I still need to get a pedal and mount?

                      Thanks for all the help!
