I remember when i bought the kit.. aah.. the memories

I was planning to get a jet black EX.. then i walked into the drumstore.. and there it was.. in the showroom.. it kept calling my name... buy me buy me..
so after trying several sets i still kept going back to this one..
good 'ol days

I decided to trade in my kit for a new one. Not because its a bad kit, just because i want something different. I couldnt get the setup "perfect" for me because of the tom depths, and some other issues i had with the kit.
Again, I love the kit, but I just want something different. Something fresh, something new..

I feel sad of letting it go after so many years of fun I had with it, but on the other hand I'm very excited about the new "journey" I'm about to follow in the world of drums..

To remember the good 'ol times, here's the very last pic i have of my kit.

man, did you already sell it? i had thought about selling my blue elx to help fund my future starclassic, but honestly, the thought of departing with my blue baby is just too much for me; way too much sentimental value, even for a semi pro kit. therefore, im keeping my kit while i save for a SECOND one! maybe you should do that!

but obviously, its your kit/decision. congratulations on the b/b though, that thing's gonna be fun! cheers!

also getting (or i should say reserved) a new ride and hi hats, and yamaha hardware (boom arms, hihatstand, double pedal, snare stand)

Yamaha hardware:
Flying Dragon twin pedal, hi hat stand, snarestand and 3 boom arms.
cant remember the type numbers if the rest though lol XD
ill have to look up the receipt :P
and a new hi hat and a new ride

For the drums, i traded in my export as shown in the picture, plus 1 extra boom, worth 1400 something
and i had to pay 1800 extra
the hardware is 675.
cases for the drums:
im gonna trade in my tribal planet bags, and get bags that come from DW, he said theyre tough and in the sizes i would need. so that would be trade in all my bags, and pay 100 more.

the cymbals: not sure, he said when the kit is there, he's gonna make a special price for it since i bought all the other stuff
so yeah i guess im getting a fair discount on them i hope

And yeah, I'm def. waiting till after NAMM for more finishes, not overly satisfied with the current ones. And I'm soon gunna be picking up an e-kit to take along to college so I can still play while I'm there. That's prolly when the EXR will go, since I won't be home to play it. Just the shell pack of course, rack and cymbals and everything else stays for the new MCX shell pack!
