could you take a pic of the bass drum mount and legs? that could be a good way to determine it's year of birth. I'd say it's from 93-95, like the one I used to have.

There is some expert in this Forum that can help you pinpoint your kit's age. Where did you find it? It will take some work, but it should clean up well. Perhaps some new heads and polish with some TLC will work wonders. Good Luck.

I've got an Export that looks exactly the same, and mine is a 98' model.

So unless you run the serial numbers, I doubt you'll find an exact date.

I'd say anywhere from late 80's or so, up to 98'. As someone else said, 98' is apparently the last year they used that badge/lug style. Not long after they gave the drums a smaller badge, slightly altered lug design, and upgraded the tom arms to Uni-Lock design.

The tension rods to adjust the tom holders and the square-shape of the tom mount make I think it's from around 1990-1995. also the color of the badge is black and gold. If I remember correctly, newer exports came with a black and silver badge. If I had to choose a model from the link you provided, I'd say it's a 1993/1994 EX.
