Thank you to all who joined us on the Pearl Drummers Forum but we have decided to continue the conversation at the Pearl Drummers Group on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/pearldrummersgroup Although the Pearl Drummers Forum is closed, the content is still searchable as there are many informative threads on Pearl gear. We hope to see you at the Pearl Drummers Group!
Nice Set! I said the same thing to the guy that got the 11 piece in all chrome. I would like to see / think it would sick to put hardware or just rims on these drums that are something other than chrome.
I have a heart for all people deficient and I think we ALL have a purpose in life, but clearly Mr. Terryballs over here has shown us what true empty significance is like.

can you even get to the hi-hat pedal? it all looks really awkward and mushed. Sorry, not my thing at all. Too much chrome too. But hey... whatever floats your boat!

i dont need to get to the hi hats its permantily closed....thats why i have the dropclutch...and its all closed togethter cause im not a ****ing millionare...so **** you! everybody else liked it!
dude... mellow. For a start, learn to take a little criticism. What you like will NEVER appeal to everyone els out there, so dont get your knickers in a twist the minute someone els doesnt have the same picture of perfection as you. It will only lead you to troble.
If your hi-hats are permanently, you dont need a drop clutch for one, and second, you will eventually find that it will limit what you can do. Being able to use the hi-hat pedal is an integral part of almost ALL styles, even heavy stuff centred on double bass.
Im guessing that, based on your earlier response, you will be to immature and self absorbed to take any of this in, because your clearly the best and have the wisdom of 50 buddah's, but hey, thats your perogative. People here are not around simply to annoy you. You're interacting with a worldwide community of people who all love the same thing, and there is sooo much here for you to absorb, learn, and be involved in. Dont be a prick the minute one person disagrees with you.

I can take critisiam...but you just blasted out, like if you like noting on my kit, which is obious, then dont comment! I dont need to here your comments, im geting a closed hats stand, for the rigt hand side of my kit, and once i have that i can leave my left hand hats open! But you dont have the least intrest in my kit, and all you can do is complane, then dont leave harsh comments in the first place!

DUUUUDE
chill out.
this is a DISCUSSION forum.
NEVER expect people to always be positive about something.
if N3maN doesnt like your setup, so be it.
all that matters is that YOU are happy with YOUR setup.

WOW dude! ease up a tad! You did a nice job with your EXs! As was said.. not EVERYONE is gonna like what you percieve to be the Holy Grail of drumkit set ups..! I personally like the chrome wrap..Nice hardware choices..although I prefer my 900 and 1000 series stuff over the 800. I think I noticed some 2000 series pieces in your set up..Nice

I am not going to prolong this any longer. All i want to say is that i hope the fact other guys are backing me up in this will get through to you. No-one is out to get you here.
I was genuinely curious about your ability to get to the hi-hat pedal, based on a long running joke arouund these parts, but you wouldunt get that as you weren't here for it, so i dont blame you for that.
I hardly blasted you, and your response was well over the top. All i said was that it wasn't "my thing at all". Note the MY THING. Not "your kit sucks and your stupid and exports are ****", but just that it wasnt to my taste.
"It all looks really mushed and awkward" was just a comment on the ergonomics of the kit in general. You can take that as insulting if you like, but it was really aimed at making you think about whether or not the setup you currently have for you kit is indeed the best one, or if it would be possible to improve the ergonomics of it which will help your playing no end.
And "too much chrome" is CLEARLY just an expression of my opinion. As others have said, not everyone will like what you will. That does not make your kit 'wrong', nor does it diminish it in any way. All that matters is that YOU like it. Im sure you wouldn't like my gear, but that is cool. I love it and i get enjoyment out of it.
I hope you are mature enough to get over your pre-pubescent little hissy fit, and can show some maturity. No-one wants to have a crappy vibe around these parts. We're all muso's after all, and this should be a place that we can all get along. Listen not only to me, but to all the other guys here. We are just trying to help you out and make you stay here more enjoyable.
