Watched last night on the fan network. Sitting in my hotel room 10 minutes away from the stadium. Having some pizza and then I'm headed to the show.

      And GO SCOUTS!

Tough choice. I love SCV, but I know BD's going to put on a hell of a show.

I liked BD live MUCH better than online. I personally though entertainment wise it was 1. Cavies, 2. Madison, 3. BD, 4. Colts, 5. Crossmen

Good to see the Scouts are performing well again.

The Scouts were awesome. They brought the audience to their feet several times, and the crowd didn't do that again till the Cavaliers went on.

Glad to know somebody else was watching the show with clear eyes. I thought the Crossmen had the best dynamic control of any corp I have heard in a long time. Just when you thought their crescendos were done they kept getting louder. I was throughly disappointed by the BD performance. The whole score sounded disjointed and had no flow. The only part I liked was their drum break. It was one of the best of the night. Except for the drum kit playing along. He sounded like a kid playing along to the radio. No offense to him because what he played in and of itself sounded fine it was just unnecessary. I really don't understand why a lot of corps are using drum kits in the front ensemble this year. It only really made sense for the Scouts with their whole Broadway/ Gershwin theme. I am still upset that BD won by 2 points!?!?!?! The only way that makes sense is if the judges added on the points from their encore performance. I was really pulling for the Cavies to win. I am fine with the fact that they took second but not by that large of a point spread. And to top it off SCV was supposed to originally perform Friday but at some point got switched to Thursday. Love me some Vanguard but there was no way I was gonna pay $45 bucks a night for two nights.

Thought I haven't seen it live, I have seen parts of BDs show online and I'm thoroughly unimpressed. I know several BD Vets that swear up and down by them, but some years they bring it, and some years they seem to just phone it in.

I dig the Cavies, though. They're always pushing the envelope to me.
