  • Practice Tenor Pad? Cavalier?

Hey, there's this practice tenor pad up for sale on eBay. It says it's a cavaliers one and that it can help you with your technique.

I was wondering if anyone has used it, and if they would recommend it.

    Here's the link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=130314842803g

    Thank you.

This is an old HQ tenor pad. I actually used to own one. The idea of them is great but the playing zones do not account for scrape playing zones. I do believe this pad was designed by the cavalier tenor tech during the early 2000's. Jim Bailey I want to say... but don't wote me on it. It is a decent enough pad. If you can afford... I would look into the new xymox tenor pads. They come with a "3" spock drum set up so you don't need to buy 2 different pads if you need to practice on 5 or 6 drums.
