  • Blue Stars 2009 Grand Premier

In Indianapolis, IN last night the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps had their 2009 Grand Premier performing their show "The Factory." They were also able to show off their new Pearl Marching Drums that they received a few weeks ago. The Blue Stars are definitely going to be in the running for a championship this year. Their show is jam-packed with emotional moments and overwhelming Percussion moments. It should be a fun year. Now for some pictures that i have from the night. i also have some videos that i will be uploading although the videos are cell phone quality.

Thanks for the great pictures! Still can't get used to the Blue Stars without their signature helmets but they sure are exciting to watch!

It's a black to blue fade. Definitely not plain. You can't see it because of the poor lighting.

ok. being this is truly the first drum corps i have heard in person i'm not going to say and that i'm a little biased to seeing that one of my best friends is in the pit of the Blue Stars.

if they are like any of the other drums that Pearl Corps use... they are also carbonply on the inside... but I can't tell with out seeing the badge on the front of the drum.

I can't believe they set snaredrums down on the front of the hardware. The most obvious thing anybody see's is the front of the drum and the hardware is very easy to scratch being aluminum.

yeah. i was wondering that too at the grand premier. but then when i saw them again in Fairfield, OH they had them sitting on the back hardware with the carrier hardware.
