  • Meinl logo ?

I'm just wondering what exactly the logo on Meinl cymbals is and what it stands for. I'm almost possitive I've read somewhere awhile back that it's two R's, and stands for Roland / Rhienhold or how ever the other guys' name is spelled. And that alot of people confuse it with two A's.( I know I did about a year ago and asked a store if they had any Meinl AA's). Anyway I've seen people say that it's AA and a M, but havent seen anyone on here say RR.

I always thought it was a P, an A, and an M, for PA Meinl (though, I don't know the significance of PA, I just remember seeing it on a Meinl picture on the internet somewhere):

The Meinl logo is simply the "M" of "Meinl". There`s nothing more behind it.

It`s just the font. I can`t really imagine a different Meinl logo...

I think its an "M" but the two circles are supposed to look like drumstick tips.

I don`t see why Meinl is such a confusing name? If you count the number of threads about how you should announce "Paiste", well...yeah, you get the picture.

Ain't got a clue about the logo - maybe it is an M and inside the M are two R's (one reversed and one normal)?????
