I remember that being a thing when I purchased my first serious set of hi hats. They were the A series Mastersounds and I ordered them through Interstate in the brilliant finish.
Most recently I picked up the new Trap Hats from Zildjian's Concept Shop. They are made of whatever alloy is used in their ZHT and I Family cymbals. They were only $150 new straight from Zildjian. I don't really mess around with these other alloys too much with the exception of the Trashformers, Spiral Trash, and the FX Stackers. Excited to see how they work with my other 14" hi hat tops and bottoms.

So found this the other day. NOS. it's Zildjian's ReMix series 17" ride. It was the only ReMix cymbal I haven't been able to find until now.
In 1998, Zildjian introduced the ReMix series that included a 12" set of hi hats, 12 and 14" crashes, and this 17" ride.
('98 was a great year at Zildjian because that's also when they introduced the Constantinople line, the Mastersound hi hats, and the 21" Sweet ride!)
In 1999, Zildjian expanded the ReMix line, adding the [Significantly more popular] 18" Breakbeat ride and the first EFX cymbal (though it originally had three sets of three jingles).
In 2000, Zildjian added the 13" Jungle hats that had six, evenly spaced jingles on the top and bottom cymbals.
The entire series is extremely difficult to find but they are awesome cymbals. They combine the pin-point lathing of the A series with the golf ball hammering you see in the K line. The cymbals were created with the intention of replicating the synthetic sounds you might hear from a Casio keyboard, and the processed, overly EQ'd sounds that were commonplace in hip-hop and dance music. The 12" hats are amazing in the studio, though I play them upside down for a better feel. The Breakbeat ride and EFX made their way to the A line after the ReMix line was discontinued in 2005. The Breakbeat ride has since been renamed the Uptown ride and is still available today.
As of right now, I own the following in the ReMix line.
12" hats
12" Crash
14" Crash (x3) these are the best hi hat tops!
16" EFX
17" ride
18" Breakbeat (x2) found one for $60 so I had to buy it...
I also own one of the 16" EFX from the A line that I removed all the jingles from.sigpic
