I've tried (briefly) a few of the rezos, mainly rides.
IMO they look a lot better than they sound. Friggin' bright with unpleasant overtones.Pearl ECX

I had my heart set on an 18" A Custom Crash when I entered the music shop a few months ago and I left with an 18" A Custom Rezo instead. They are the prefect blend between the bright A Custom sound and the sound of a regular Avedis. Great spread of frequencies, great dynamic range and a sound that can fit just about any musical style.
I highly recommend them. Great cymbals.

I too own the 17" and love it. I wanted the intermediate between the regular A custom and A custom medium, and this one got it. The more I play and gets dirty, the more I like it.14x4.5 Brady Sheoak Block

A few weeks ago I was looking to buy a 19" A Custom cymbal to go along with my 18" A Custom fast crash, my 17" A Custom Medium crash and my 16" A custom. I took the 18 and 17" cymbals along with me to the store just to make sure they would all get along with one another. I really wanted the 19" Reso to work out, but it just didn't have the same voice when paired and hit at the same time with my other A Customs. I also tried the A Custom 19" Projection crash and that didn't do it either. I ended up getting the 19" A custom.
I would have no problem with the sound of the Resos crashes, they just did not blend well with my other A Customs in my circumstances.
I always take one or two of my other cymbals along for comparison, it save a lot of headaches latter.

However, I went back to the store today to bang on some more rezos (funny thing, none of them were rides), and I'm afraid I still cannot share your enthusiasm for them. To my ear they are excessively bright with a truly ugly set of overtones. To each his own!

I love the 17"-20" I have tried. They are truly amazing. I would love an 18" rezo crash and a 19" K hybrid crash...the ideal crash set-up for me.I love when my cymbals talk dirty to me.
