Just added a new family member to my collection of three 21" Zildjian Ride Cymbals. Picked up a <img src="https://www.pearldrummersforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=513182"/><img src="https://www.pearldrummersforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=513183"/><img src="https://www.pearldrummersforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=513183"/> 20th Anniversary A Custom 21" medium thin ride! I must say, a nice addition! Great bell, nice stick defenition that doesn't get lost in the wash and crashes with warmth! Happy with this purchase!

I use one of those as my left side crash. I really like it, definitely an underrated model

I have a 21" Wuhan Med Thin/Crash Ride. I frickin love that cymbal. It explodes open right way and has incredible sustain - just a glorious cacophony. I do know that Wuhan's are hit or miss re consistency, but I got a good one.

I can speak for this one, my best friend had the same cymbal and it sounded incredible. Definitely badass for the price

I no longer have the El Sabor 18" (long story). Also, I am now playing at a different church. The crashable ride I am now playing at church is an HHX Evolution Ride. I use it with hats and a 17" AAX X-plosion Crash.

Yesterday, I took my 19" AAX X-plosion Crash to band practice and used it as a crash-ride. It was a better ride than the El Sabor, and the crash is better too. The El Sabor has a better bell. So I am now using hats, one crash, and a crash-ride. Peace and goodwill.

As my 66th birthday rapidly approaches in less than 6 weeks my mantra lately has been, "What are you going to do, wait until you're 70"? Especially now after Mr Peart has left our midst at only 67. This an exceptional cymbal that comes at an exceptional price. I thought to myself, "I have paid my dues and then some. It's here, it's now, it's mine"!

After trades and after buying some cymbals, I no longer have the El Sabor 18" nor the AAX X-plosion 19". However, a few years ago I bought a Sabian SR2 18" Thin that also makes a good ride. So here is what I am going to use.

18" SR2 18" Thin
17" AAX Concept Crash
16" AAX Concept Crash
14" SR2 Hats (medium top/ heavy bottom)

I also have an HHX 20" Evolution Ride that is very crashable. Peace and goodwill.
