If you like a cymbal and can spare the money any cymbal is worth it. I like the A custom line alot.

The A Custom line is really on the lesser expensive end of good cymbals. You can spend a crapload more on signature lines, not to mention UFIPs, Bosphorous, and others. I just don't care for the brightness of the A Custom sound. I like regular A's and K Customs better.

          I like. . .

I like the A customs, they have a nice, versatile sound. And buying them new isn't a good idea, as there are tons of them out on eBay, my site (below) and and other places at very reasonable prices.

I honestly don't care much for A Customs, and for the money I'd buy different cymbals. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying they are bad cymbals or they sound bad, but I've heard alot better sounding pies in the same price range which I would go for instead. They sound very generic to me, and that's just not what I'm on the market for.
But if you try them out (which is important to do) and like them, go for it!

I got quoted at GC (with a good customer discount!!!) for a 19" A Custom. It cost more than my 16" Signature, and it also cost more than my 18" 2oo2. They aren't cheap...but they aren't super expensive.
Want to buy: 14"x14" (legs), 16" x 16" (legs), and/or 16"x18" (legs) Starclassic B/B FT in Lava Glass Glitter. Also looking for 20"x22" (no mount) Starclassic B/B Kick in Lava Glass Glitter. I'm open to other finishes.

tbh i prefer sabian aax cymbals to a custom's. more variety in sound and they are also cheaper.
