They arent bad! I think these drums just sound amazing no matter the head. I cannot wait to upgrade them to Ambassadors.

all my kits came in the same week, Ludwig classic maples, the crystals and the wood fiberglass, a good problem to have but I have drum boxes and heads all over my dammmm house.... The ludwigs are just about put together. Then onto the crys beats

Man......I dunno......as great as Ambassadors are, I really feel like this is a kit that you need to stick 100% with clear heads all over!

I would never in a million years put anything other than clear heads on mine! lol But, to each their own.

CLEAR ambassadors of course!!!! lol 100% clear minus the FF snare. Cant do clear batters on snare!
