CRB Floor Tom Legs...too short?

Has anyone else noticed that the floor tom legs on the CRBs are a bit on the short side? I've got mine essentially as high as they can go, and the floors are still about an inch short. My VMX floor tom legs are about 1-1.5 inches longer than the CRB floor tom legs.

Thoughts?

Mine seem normal length.

While I don't sit super high, I do sit with my legs at a VERY slight downward angle, with my snare about level or just under my navel and my floor toms just about the same height.

I have mounted the floor toms on my Export and VMX on the rack using ISS (for the Export) and Optimounts (for the VMX). I wonder if the CRB Floor toms can handle being mounted using Optimounts?

I have my Ft mounted to my rack with the Opti and no Issues, but the ISS was just to Flimsy mounted on the thin Hoops

yea...that's what I thought. There's no way I'm doing ISS on the CRB, but I'll be getting me a couple of Opti's to hang those puppies.

Yep. My floor tom legs need to be a couple inches longer, too. Also HEY PEARL. Make some 14 and 15 in rack toms, too!

Opti's for the win! Got em installed on the CRB floor toms, and all is good in the world again
