Scarlet_fade, BEAUTIFUL kit!

Slipknot, Are those your drums? What made you choose Pearl TH100 and BT3s for tom mounting on the OCDP kit with RIMS mounted to a Gibraltar rack? It just seems an odd combo to me.

Yes, thats my kit in the picture, I chose Pearl TH 100's because they are the BEST. Absolutley industuctible. There is not a tom arm on the planet that is more solid. I do not like tom holders that use plastic balls (Tama, DW, Sonor, Premeir, Yamaha, etc) They wear out and they can break dropping your toms (I have seen it happen) I also dont like the thin "L" arms alot of companies use since they dont hold as solid and have too much bounce to them. When i bought my kit i figured i would start from scratch and use only the best hardware that is proven to be bullet proof and versatile at the same time. Thats why i went with what i use.

Plastic sucks. I have that on an old Premier kit of mine, and now I'm hearing a nasty buzz anytime I hit one of my toms. Plus everynow and then I have to RESET the tom arms or put some felt between the tom and the bass drum cuz they keep dropping. But all my troubles will be gone once I get my new Pearl Session/Masters kit!!!! :-)
