Such choices! You'll be driving indecisive drummers nuts. An MCC Reference Pure kit is on my long range radar.
No #393..?
Must be out of fashion now :(

No danger ;) these are all the wraps that are on the music city custom programs, no lacquer there ;) surely the classic craze is still available on the red/fleet pure lines at least :)

I was wondering why there were three lists of the same finishes, but then I realized that the difference is in the hardware.

It took me three or four good looks to figure it out too. I started looking at each finish to see if there were any different colors when I noticed the hardware ;)

Not the hardware finishes, but the lugs (Ref/Ref Pure/Masters)

Yes, wraps are all the same, the hardware (lugs/hoops) is different.

Makes sense cheers LD!

Exactly!
Derek posted this thread the same day I posted in the Platinum Gold Oyster thread there are so many great choices I'd have to go jellybean if I had the good fortune to buy a MCC-RP kit:

I've been thinking about the MCC's too much lately so I must come to grips that I really do want them. Can't be because I play around Music City on a weekly basis. Maybe I'll get over it. I remember I had a Gretsch catalog in 1965 I drooled over almost daily.

I was just showing these to one of my many brothers last night. I would have a heck of a time deciding on the finish. Shell sizes would be hard enough but I could narrow those down fairly quickly. Someday I'll will order!

Yours? Stunning! No, not mine, it's from a kit on Reverb but I'm thinking seriously of selling my 8 piece MCX kit and ordering a 6 piece MCC kit in this White Marine Pearl finish. I'm just debating between the Reference Pures vs the 4 ply Masters Reserves. I've always loved the tone of Pearls thin maple shells.... But those STL lugs got me !!

If you could get a reasonable price for your MCX drums, I would do it. The thin-shell drums sound great.
