That full CB concert tom kit made me instantly think... "if Wonder Woman played the drums, this would be her kit"

Seriously, with fewer heads, and less hardware, the drums almost seem invisible.

Can you order the bass drum individually? What sizes do the crystal beat bass drums come in, as well as pricing? Thanks. I think I have found my Phil Collins set, and I am a lefty!

24x14? Cool. Great pricing and they sound great! The 14 and 16 inch toms can be mounted as floor toms on stands correct?

Or will there be crystal beat concert toms added as well with legs?

Don't you have a Masterworks kit?

I sure do!
Just no need to buy anything in masterworks. Especially acrylic

I didn't realize you meant acrylic. I don't think MW would do that. However, you might be able to find an independent drum builder who could make them with red acrylic.

It's funny, Triumph came on Ozzy's Boneyard on the way to work the other day and I was thinking it's time to bring back concert toms. I started drumming in 1978 when at least half the drummers out there played concert toms or dropped the bottom heads.

Gil's Tama Imperialstars were for sale on Kijiji a few months ago for roughly 4000....huge setup

I loved that setup. By today's standards the Imperialstars are not great drums, but those concert tom kits sounded pretty good and were fun to play.

Waiting on the tangerine glass concert toms that probably won't make it into production!!!! :(

Mounting brackets attached directly to an acrylic shell seems a bit dicey to me.

I wanna get the 14" but I'd throw it on a snare stand

That video is a perfect illustration of why I like concert toms much more than octobans/rocket toms. Listen to the tone and quality from the concert toms, compared to the "tink" sound coming from the rocket toms. Tama's octobans, and Pearl's metal rocket toms have a little more body and tone, but not much.

Matt,

I think the purpose of the Rocket Toms is to get a different tone. They aren't supposed to sound like concert toms.

I want a Pro kit with concert tom designs.

I'm fairly sure you can get a complete concert tom kit in 6" to 16" open ended like Peter Criss kit in Masterworks. I think there was a guy on the PDF that actually had a concert tom MW kit awhile back.

I think an all-maple concert tom kit would be killer!

Tim Alexander (Primus) was using concert toms for a while... Maybe still, I don't know. They're slowly making a comeback, it seems. I bet that's the next big "new" trend that all the flannelly bearded manbuns hop on.
