#229 White Satin Pearl has a hi-gloss pearlescents like the old Masters Opal White used to have. It is not just your average white.

On the solid lacquers they are, on the wood grain and sparkles they are not (its a feature! :D)

I really like the "finished" hoops on the above pictures. I wish all mfgs would do that on more kits. (even the sparkles.)

Those lugs look "interesting".......

I like the simplicity of the lug, but it doesn't entice me. I get that a smaller lug is a cheaper lug, but how much does it cost to design a new lug from scratch vs keeping an existing lug in production? IPlus new marketing materials, SKUs, packaging.

I'd be much more drawn to this kit if it adopted the old Vision lug or even the new Export Lug.

Big kudos though for offering more configurations other than basic 5 piece.
The white reso heads are nice looking too.

I like the finishes. Not 100% keen on the lugs, but that wouldn't stop me from buying one if I were in the market for that kind of kit. I see that its a homage to the reference lugs which is kinda cool.

The Yellow Finish with Fat Tone Hoops would be fantastic!

<img src="https://www.pearldrummersforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=491394"/> So, I guess they can't use the 'cost savings' excuse for unfinished hoops on pro level kits... I like the look of these better than any MCX or BCX or any other "pro level" kit with unfinished hoops simply because the fully finished make the kit look well, finished.
