Finally i remembered to take the camera to my rehearsal studio! :) Just figured i should present the drums with pictures that actually is of good quality. So here we go:

Here is the "frontshot". You can see the crack in my kick, waiting for a new one now - this one is 22"/16", the new one will be 20"/18"
Rest of the specs are: 8/8" - 8/10" - 8/12" - 14/16" toms. 5/14" snare. Not Pearl at the moment... That will change soon... :)

Driver seat pic. I have downsized a bit on the cymbals. I use a 14" Meinl Byzance medium thin crash, and a 18" Byzance Medium crash - and a 8" a-custom splash, that i didn't put up for the pictures. a-custom 20" ride, and Meinl 14" fast-hats. I might go back to putting up a 12" crash as well, in addition of course.

As well as the finish, i love the lugs, and susension system... It just works out for me :)
456964

Byzance fast-hats.

To be continued... :)

And here we go again... :)

All HW exept HI-hat and BD-pedal is Pearl. Here's the Speed cobra hihat.

And here's the Iron cobra pedal

My bands logo on the kick.

And then the snare, a Tama Warlord

My mixer. I use sennheiser for tom's, shure on the bassdrum and snare, and Roede as OH.

Then i have a question... I have gotten an offer to buy the Virgil Donati snare for a VERY nice price, brand new... I haven't got the chance to test it before i buy it (too far away). Is the snare as good as it sounds on the clips i am watching on youtube? :) Please help me out.

If you get a good deal on it, snag it! I love mine. Nice crack and decent tuning range. What genre do you primarily play?

I play everything from 70's rock to Lady Gaga... So i need a snare that is useable for almost everything. Check: www.funkytown.no, there's a video on the frontpage showing our huge width of music:)

Thanx:) Dumb question: What does: "Rep... Maybe" mean? I'm Norwegian, so my english is a bit limited, i guess ;)

I was going to give you reputation points, but I wasn't sure if I could.

Turns out you have to stop posting things I want to rep, because I have to spread that BS around more.

I am in a phase testing drumheads now. It's still pretty resonant - but not s much as before. The Evans black chrome does actually sound pretty good, with full bodied sound. Next up is 1 ply coated heads from aquarian :)

Thank you guys for all the nice words :-) I really appreciate it!

I added a Virgil Donati snare yesterday, and used it for practice last night. First impression is that it's a snare i am going to use quite a lot - a bit "light" compared to the Tama Warlord, but nice crack and good depth despite it's quite shallow. I'm gonna try to record a video with some playing, so you can hear the kit also... :)

I love that snare! I've had the pleasure of using one before and would like to add one to my set.

Thank you everybody :) I am so happy with this kit. We have a short band-break, and the next gig isn't before october 19th... THAT SUCKS!

But from there, and to the 18th of december, I have 11 gigs :) :) :)

Thinking of recording next week - just get the mic's up, and give you a peak of how the kit, and I sound :)

Awesome kit, man! Wow! I'm not a huge fan of the reference tube lugs but everything else- that finish, is gorgeous!

How do you like the speed cobra hat? I have a bass pedal and love the long board and adjustments you can make to it.

I love the speed cobra - it actually made my hihat-playing more consistant and steady:) Took a couple of hours to get used to it's rapid response, but i'm not looking back :)

Btw: I LOOOOOVE the lugs as well ;)

Stunning Diamond Burst Ref Pure! How do you like the Byzance Cymbals? I love the Byzance series - very musical and durable cymbals. And they sounds great played slightly or banged - and everywhere in between :) The Byzance hat's are also fantastic. Smooth and crisp. I'm adding a 16" crash as well to the one's I'm using today.

Just got the new bassdrum as well: 18"/20" :)
