I think your snare needs some new guts.

How much did you buy that for? It is a beautiful color by the way!

I plan on buying a marching snare one day. Trying to decide on an FFX or SFZ then 13" or 14".

So do you think a 13'' or a 14'' would be great for personal use? I really like the 14'', but i think it might be a bit much?

I would personally buy the 14", just because it will give you the (more or less) same feel of the one your school uses (if you guys use 14"-most schools do).

we used 14'' premier's my 9th grade year, then 13" pearls 10th-11th. Then 13'' Yamaha sfz. Then when I marched with Furman University they marched the same 13'' Yamaha sfz's! The drum corps I was in marched 14'' Dynastys.

That's why i've had a big problem deciding which would be best. I think I will go 14'' though and Pearl.

you could buy a custom wrap and wrap it your self

We did that with in the drumline 10th grade. Too many air bubbles occur. I'm fine with a normal color but just would like to know if it's about the same price, that the option is there.

it would be more cause i dont think you can buy a marching snare without a factory wrap

I just can't stand that finish on a 13 inch drum with no logo.
