i just really want to own one. just the feel and the sound really grab my attention but i really don't know where to start i was thinking FFXP because for one it looks amazing and two it seems to be what lots of marching bands use.

what do you think?

I think you can get whatever you want. Pearl makes some great drums with the lowest price compared to the other big companies, Dynasty and Yamaha. Mapex just started to make marching drums, so you might want to price those.

I'd definately go with pearl man. They're the best bet!

I have a 14" Carbonply, and LOVE it. I'm using the Evans hybrid on top, and it feels amazing. This thing is built like a tank, and just sounds insane (in a good way).

PM me if you want more info, I'm in a bit of a rush or I'd post more....
