Ok, so I'm gonna buy a new snarehead to my 14x5" Maple free floater.
Is it gonna be a emperor or a CS Coated Black Dot Snare?

what do yah think?

Why just those two? did you try out every head on remo's line up and narrowed it down to those two? or just taking a guess?

buy one play around with it...keep mental/written notes...when time to buy another head get a different one play around with it keep mental/written notes...repeat the process untill you find the head you trully enjoy....dont just stop at one or two....there are lots of head combos out there get creative. you never know what you will like..

No i've heard these two heads befor and i really like them a lot. it feels like these the ones that fits what i'm gonna play the best. I used amassadeur befor but it didn't do it, and i think thicker heads will be to dampened. Ofcourse i look at Evans to, It'll be a G2 or maby a powerdot if evans.

I can't stand two ply heads on snares to be honest. It's either an Ambassador or Power center for me, so I'll say go with a CS/Power center.

out of the two I'd go emperor. It's very virsitile, yet it'll hold up to some punishment... that's my personal opinion. later.
