I was juts curious about some peoples opinions on the pedal. I own an Elliminator 2002C and the other night i was in a local drum shop and got a feel for the 9002. It wasn't hooked to a kit though so i couldnt get a real feel for it. Let me know your opinions. Thanks

The new 9000's are so new, it will be awhile before any realistic review is out. I would be inclined to wait a few months and see if there are any teething problems with them and to give people a chance to really use them.

If the music store has it, why not just ask if you can hook it up to a kit and try it out?

Have you tried a 9000??? Until you have, i would not make that statement. I dont really care for DW pedals but the 9000 is an excellent pedal, they dont get much smoother. As for durability, that is DW's weak point. I know of several 9000 Titanium failures at the chain attatchement point on the pedal board, but as far as i have heard, that problem is being adressed on the new 9000.
