Is there anything I can use to get adhesive(glue from duct tape) off of heads? Especially off of reso heads w/o tearing them? Thanks

Are you talking a clear, or coated head? There are many solvents that will remove adhesive residue, but some may likely remove coatings. Most won't eat the Mylar itself, but again, some might.

There's a commercial product called Goof-Off that will remove the residue. Mineral spirits will too. But if the head is coated, I'd say "bye-bye" to the coating, as well as any logo on the head.

Nah.. there clear reso's..Ambassador Weatherkings..Didn't want to use something that would make the head lose it's integrity. Still a little life in 'em yet and didn't want to pitch 'em yet.

Goo Gone will do it.

Hey, Hack's got the better suggestion. Goo-Gone will do the trick. Use it sparingly!

I've never used goo gone, I trust it will work. Rubbing alcohol will usually work and most of us already have some.

I've removed adhesive smudges from a DVD with vegetable oil, so it is pretty mild, and very effective.
