Well, I pretty much got the scratch out. Didn't realize it was a deep as it was.

Thought I'd check to see if ordering a hoop is possible.

Yes I'm pretty picky.

Ok, just found out it's not possible to get a replacement hoop from my dealer. Oh well. Guest I'll live with it and just move it under a lug.

Thanks for the help guys.

Try another dealer, the local Pearl dealer here says he can get replacement wood bass drum hoops for around $40 each

Carl, why would the guy tell me he couldn't get it? He said the only thing he could get would be the bass drum. Good God I only need the hoop, which is for an Export 2002 825DH.

Any idea what it'd cost to get a replacement?

I really think Pearl should work on direct ordering.

Well, that's where I bought the set. So I figured he was a Dealer, the music store is listed in your dealer list.

Anyway, the bass is a 22x18 and the color is Charcoal Metallic #98.

Thanks

The part you need for hoop is- RIM22RB..List for $48.00

You also need part # C1BDH. This is the inlay for the hoop. List is $4.00..Make sure they tell the cust service rep they need color # 98.

Hope that helps...Thanks,Carl ;)

Thanks Carl. One more question. I assume the inlay is the color part that wraps around the hoop? Could I just order the inlay and replace it on my hoop? How difficult is it to remove a wrap?

Thanks for all your help.

It's a piece of cake..Its double sided taped on there..Heat it with a hair dryer at the seams..It will come off ok...

This kind of service is one of the many reasons I chose Pearl for my drums.
