Nickel's Vintage Wine

Finally here! Not much to it right now (I'm a one-thing-at-a-time kinda person haha) but more goodies should be arriving over the coming months

Haven't had a chance to do much but finger-tap the heads and set them up, so I'll be able to comment on the sound tomorrow after I spend 6hrs tearing them apa- *ahem* I mean, seeing what they can do.

Droid pics for now and hopefully some sparkly SLR pics when more stuff gets here.

Hey Filip,

Congrats on your new Masters MCX!

It really looks great in Vintage Wine. The woodgrain really shines through that finish in your close-up pic.
I also love your brass FF snare. You are going to have all sorts of fun putting your Masters kit through its paces.

I haven't really noticed too many vintage wine MCX's on the forum & it's a beautiful finish! Congrats on a sweet new kit! My guess is...you're gonna love it! Nice choice!

Planning on a 14x14 floor tom and possibly an 8x7 if nothing else pulls my funds away (*cough* cymbals *cough*)

Though 14" x 14" toms are really fun; the 18" x 16" will rock your world! the tuning range on these beasts is incredible! Enjoy some more!

Looking good!! That finish is one of my favs. It looks almost like the burgundy mist I had on my old exports.
