I agree with both Nova and BlackDiamond. I personally like Remos better but the combo
of two plys on top and single plys on the bottoms is the way I would go. I have G'2 on my four tom batter heads at the moment but already have Emperors to replace them. I think Remos just keep their sweet spots longer but thats just me. Both companies make great heads. Your drums have the power to "sing", you should let them do so.

Have fun changing heads, I hate that process.
