Its really difficult to do it with the pictures you provided, so I used another, Yamaha Silver Sparkle lacquer.

You sort of get the idea..... I hope

I was bored tonight so here you go.. the top two were sampled from your images, the other 4 were a bit of experimenting..

hope this helps..

edit: resized the image to save bandwidth (and the re-upload was very slow too..)

I decided to try a few more retouched snares.. and I agree the black stain hoops look nice next to the green..
