I've changed my setup a little in the last few months... I ditched a few things, and bought some new crashes, changed from Clear G1s to Coated Ambassadors. I'm liking this setup much more than my old one.
Specs on request. I've got a few things on order too. - More CH-1000 cymbal arms - Meinl 20" Amun China - Meinl 15" Byzance Thin Crash - Mapex Saturn 13x5.5 Snare What do you think?! ![]() EDIT: Sorry about the slightly grainy pics... I don't really know how to work my brother's camera.

Very nice set man. Great set up, but why don't you put the ride right next to your rack tom?

How do you find the coated ambassadors compared to the clear G1's? What reso are you using btw?

The Ambassadors are completely different to the G1s. When I had the G1s, I tuned low, and batter and resonant head the same. With the Ambassadors, The resonant head is tuned a little higher than the batter, which is tuned about medium. With the Ambassadors, my drums seem much more lively and punchy with a less defined attack. With the G1s, they were very big sounding with more defined attack and a very fast decay. I chose Coated Ambassadors over Coated G1s because I tried Coated G1s once, and they were, in a word, dull. This is also the first time I've ever had Remo heads on this kit. I think I'm a convert.
