Hi everyone......thanks for the kind comments and just to clarity, i haven't got a 16ft bass drum!!!!!! Ha!
![]() ![]() ![]() Optimounts arrived yesterday and fitted them today, they look and feel great!! By the way, does anybody know the correct placement of them? I've fitted them so that both top and bottom are touching the lug boxes.....is this correct? |

That's a really good way to keep honest... I'm not flashy at all drum wise, because I'm the main back up singer for my band! Ha.
I'm new to drums and the PDF myself, but either way welcome to the forum. Everyone is pretty cool and knowledgeable. I'm not surprised to see everyone rooting for optimounts already! You will get a lot of encouragement and support and of course a lot of suggestions to spend good money on awesome gear! Cool kit! Nice to see a white kit on here. Not that I don't see that many on here, but yours is much nicer looking than the catalog versions of this model. Last edited by Cashfan82; 11-07-2009 at 08:52 PM. Reason: Grammar! |

Cheers Cashfan82!!! I actually did a bit of lead vocals on Saturday too, not something I would like to make a habit of though. How often do you catch the Mic then????? HA
![]() I'll get some more pics up with the optimounts Tuesday Evening/Wednesday morning. I have band practice again on Tuesday so will get some hopefully non blurry pics! Thanks everyone again! |

Nice set up & welcome to pdf! I also new @ pdf. I bought a new pearl VMX red sparkle last month and I love it! I received a free 8" tom from pearl 20 days later and last week, thursday I also received my new pearl drum rack 503c, I set it up and my baby look very nice! but I still need cymbals...that's a tough decision for me. I am planing to get paste tweenty series cymbals which I tried out the demo at GC.
