Wow! I thought I'd be the first one with this finish on the forum!
Well, that means I'll have to return them.
I haven't had a chance to tune them yet but I will be getting around to that today.
Remo clear Emps over Ambs to come but will have to wait until a few weeks from now.
Thanks for the comments guys. She's a beauty.

I've been playing Yamaha DTXtreme 2&3 E-kits for the past 4 years. Yesterday I picked up one of these Sonor kits. I wish that finish had been an option for me. The price was right though. They sound decent for an entry level kit, but the snare is terrible, I'm picking up a mapex black panther today to replace it.

There is nothing entry level about Sonor Force 2007, 3007 and SE (Special Edition) kits.

The kit I bought has low end entry level shells, 9 ply basswood. The 5 piece shell pack can be bought for only $300.00 but you will need to buy a better snare. Toms and kick sound good. The kit I bought also came with a kick pedal, hi-hat stand, snare stand, tom arm and mounting bracket, and two boom cymbal stands , all very high quality hardware. The hardware package was an additional $200.00 All in all $500.00 for this kit was a decent purchase.

This kit will be fine for jamming with friends, playing at my home, and just getting used to the feel of acoustic drums again. If and when I decided to play out or record , I'll be upgrading to maple shells.

sounds like a good deal and I know what you mean about the basswood. Gotta get the Maple.
I tuned them up this morning and they sound very nice.
I am a happy camper.
