Default First Post!!!

Hi everyone......I'm new to the PDF and like jo31(Joel) I've been visiting for a while now since I bought my new Vision VX in Ivory a few months back. So i thought i would put a few minutes aside to say hello!!

Anyway, like i said i got myself a new Vision VX 5 piece at the end of August, 12,14ft, 16ft, 22" x 18" bass drum and the 14" sensitone. Did I like them??????? Lets just say a few weeks later I had added a 10" rack tom and now toying with the idea of getting the 8".

i have band practice tomorrow night (Thursday) so I will get some pictures and post them!

Laters!

Default nice kit

Way to go "pearlalltheway", nice kit. I bought a VBX in ruby fade 8,10,12,14,16 toms, 22 base and 14.5 snare. added Zildjian A customs and I am quite happy! plus the hardware is quite nice for the cost

Ok here we are.....sorry about the blurryness of them, practice ran over and i ended up rushing them.

I need to replace the stock heads on the 16ft bass drum and snare. Gonna go with EMAD2 for the bass drum and pinstripe for the floor tom. Not sure on the snare yet?? Got some optimounts in transit also which should arrive in the next few days. Oh and I deperately need to replace the ride!!!

Anyway, they should give you an idea of my setup so let me know what you think......

to the point where i gave up and bought a lefthanded pearl eliminator ...
keep everything exactly where it was .. and just switch the bassdrum to the 8"tom side ahaha
